COMPLETE TRACK FASTENING ASSEMBLY

Railway Track Fastening System is used for holding the rails and sleepers in position. A Rail Fastening System maintains gauges and prevents rails from moving vertically and horizontally with respect to their sleeper position. It usually consists of a Rail Clip, Rail Pad, Insulators & Baseplates.

There are several types of Rail Fastening Systems, such as:

E-Type

E-type rail clip provides durable alignment which can fasten the steel rail and the fastenings from high pressure caused by the train. As the name suggests, the Rail Clip is E-Shaped. The main advantage of this fastening system is that it requires no special device to open or close it. This Fastening System is widely used in India.

Nabla Fastening System

The Nabla fastening system is widely used in Europe. Nabla is a resilient fastening system used with concrete sleepers for use on different types of loads including light rail, Passenger, freight, mixed traffic and even heavy haul routes.

DEENIK Fastening system

Deenik clip is widely used in the South American railway track, especially on concrete sleepers. DE clips are generally used with cast iron shoulders and ribbed baseplates. Deenik clips are famous for their superior maintenance of track gauges under high temperatures. It is low-stress fastening with high fatigue resistance.

SKL/W Fastening System

SKL tension clamps were originally developed by the German Railway (Deutsche Bahn). SKL Fastening system is the most frequently used railway track structure in the concrete sleepers on ballast all over the world. The dynamic forces of the railway traffic are dissipated into the ground by the elastic components of the fastening.

KPO Fastening System

U Clip is used with bolts and nuts and is widely prevalent with ribbed base plates in and around Europe for passenger, freight and mixed traffic lines.
